Sydney is a beautiful city located on the SE coast of Australia (in New South Wales).

We stayed at the Park Regis Hotel--an older motel in a perfect location (2 streets away from the

Queen Victoria Building) in downtown Sydney.

On our first day we toured the National Maritime Museum, which included tours of the destroyer HMAS Vampire and the Oberon-Class Attack Submarine HMAS Onslow.

The next day we toured the most-excellent Powerhouse Museum.  In addition to an Exploratorium-like set of exhibits, there was also a special exhibition of Leonardo DaVinci's Leicester Codex.  Fascinating to learn more about The Man.

That night we took a scenic harbor cruise to see Sydney's night lights (and take a shaky picture).

Finally, we spent a day touring the Sydney Opera House, walking The Rocks, and doing some souvenir shopping.
